Vacuum bags are bags where vacuum cleaner deposits dirt and dust that is being picked up. Before, vacuum bags were kind big and not so practical as today. They were sacks made of canvas that was stiff and thick. They were made just to store debris and dust that was being removed. Their main purpose was not to let anything go back into the air.
Today, there is a whole different situation than before. Technology evolved and everything became much more sophisticated. Quality went up as well. Maintenance isn’t hard as well. Since they are replaceable, all you have to do is check whether or not vacuum bag is full. My advice is to replace it if it’s sixty or maybe even fifty percent full. New vacuum bags aren’t expensive and replacement process isn’t difficult. After all, those bags come with a step by step manual.
To ensure that you have the highest quality possible, it would be good to change bags every month at least once. Well, of course that depends on how much you are actually cleaning. If you are cleaning more than 2500 square feet, then you should change it more often. Also, it depends whether or not you have pets. All those things add up, but as I’ve already stated, it would be the best if you change bag once a month or when it reaches sixty percent – whatever happens first.
Bear in mind that you have to be careful while buying new vacuum bag because not every bag will match you vacuum. So be extra careful here. On a side note, it would be wise to keep track of new bags that are being produced because new generation bags are better than old ones.
